Teachers in Utah and Nevada Surprised with $25,000 Milken Educator Awards
October 17, 2002 - Linda Morgan of Salt Lake City and Bonnie Murray of Las Vegas were surprised Wednesday with $25,000 Milken Educator Awards. Milken Family Foundation Chairman Lowell Milken announced their names as recipients at schoolwide assemblies. Ms. Morgan and Ms. Murray are among 100 outstanding educators in 46 states to be surprised with the Milken Educator Award this month during the Foundation's annual National Notifications.

October 16, 2002 - Indianapolis teacher MiSang Han and two teachers from the Chicago area – Rosa Covarrubias and Susan Bolek – were surprised with $25,000 Milken Educator Awards Tuesday. October 14, 2002 - Two days after presenting the first-ever Milken National
Educator Awards in New Jersey, Milken Family Foundation Chairman Lowell returned
to the Garden State Friday to surprise two more teachers – Theresa Licitra and
April Lowe – with $25,000 Awards. The Foundation is surprising 100 outstanding
educators with the Award this month in 46 states during its annual National
Notifications.
