Results from a Study of 27 States’ District Technology Coordinators

by Dr. Lewis Solmon

10/19/99 | The Milken Exchange on Education Technology presents the results of the 1998-99 state-by-state survey of technology in schools.

Thirty-two states responded to the survey, with 27 states providing us with data representative of the demographics of their states. Our summary results, Survey of Technology in the Schools: Preliminary Tables, compares districts from individual states to an aggregation of all responding districts.

This 33-page report, released in September of 1999, includes the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming and the Department of Defense Education Activity.
